Oliver W. Holmes The funeral for Oliver W. Holmes, 74, 208 N. Oakdale, will be 11 a.m. today at the Ryan Mortuary, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be Crown Point Cemetery in Ottawa County. Mr. Holmes died Tuesday, Dec. 22 1987, at St. John's Hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 1913, in Culver and was a lifetime resident of the Salina area. He was a retired employee and bill poster for the Wittaker Advertising Agency. Survivors include his wife, Edith of the home; two sons, Michael of Bethany, Okla., and Tery of Blackhawk, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Pat Thome of Pratt; a brother, Harlan of 1207 W. Ash; two sisters, Marjorie Holmes and Helen Stokes, both of Cheyenne, Wyo.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The Ryan Mortuary is in charge. |
